GYS is running two weeks of summer camps for 2024 – July 22 to 26, and July 29 to August 2. During each week, participants will learn, rehearse, and perform a short musical. Each day, campers will spend about half of their time working on the musical, and the other half engaged in arts, crafts, drama, dance, and other activities. Families are encouraged to attend the performance on Friday afternoons.
We are delighted to announce that GYS Artistic Director, Marion Samuel-Stevens, will be taking lead on camps again this year. Marion has years of vocal instruction experience, teaching children and seasoned performers alike.
Each week is a different musical experience, so campers are welcome to register in one or both weeks. The camp is open to children who are entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall. Camp takes place on the University of Guelph campus, with before and after care available.
