Choir I

Choir I welcomes young singers who love to sing and are excited to make music with others. Through singing, movement, games, and creative musical activities, choristers build confidence, teamwork, listening skills, healthy vocal habits, and foundational music literacy in a joyful and supportive environment.
Singers learn to perform together as an ensemble while developing independence, focus, and expressive singing skills.

Choir II
Led by Marlys Neufeldt
Choir II is designed for singers who are ready to build stronger musical independence and ensemble skills. Rehearsals focus on healthy vocal production, ear training, sight-singing, expressive singing, and increasingly independent part-work within a welcoming and collaborative ensemble environment.
Singers participate in concerts, workshops, festivals, and community performances throughout the season while continuing to grow as musicians and performers.

Chamber Choir
Led by Emily Petrenko
Chamber Choir is Guelph Youth Singers’ senior ensemble for committed singers with developing or advanced musical skills. Rehearsals focus on refined vocal technique, ensemble musicianship, artistic expression, sight-singing, and sophisticated repertoire in a variety of musical styles and languages.
The ensemble regularly participates in concerts, collaborations, workshops, festivals, and outreach performances, with opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and advanced ensemble music-making.
